How the space works
What the job needed
The new building needed one space that could open into a large community and event area, then close off into a secluded boardroom.
What LG2 installed
LG2 installed a Modernfold Encore automated folding partition. Facing the community area, the panels carry one continuous digital print of the Mackinac Bridge at night, so the closed wall reads as artwork.
On the boardroom side, the panels are 14 ft floor-to-ceiling trimless markerboards. Open, the wall joins both rooms into one large event space; closed, it gives the board a secluded room. Encore is a solid-panel partition rated up to STC 56.
